The Hoya Carnosa 'Compacta' affectionately known as the Hindu Rope Plant, features tightly curled, waxy leaves that twist and cascade in dramatic, rope-like tendrils. It's a slow-growing, long-lived beauty that rewards patient plant parents with clusters of stunning, star-shaped pink and white flowers with a sweet, honey-like fragrance when mature. Care Instructions:

• Water thoroughly, then allow soil to dry out almost completely between waterings. Hoyas hate sitting in wet soil
  
• Place in bright, indirect light for best growth and to encourage blooming; tolerates medium light but may not flower
  
• Use a well-draining mix, such as a blend of potting soil and perlite or an orchid bark mix
  
• Keep in temperatures between 60–80°F; protect from cold drafts and temperatures below 50°F
  
• High humidity (50%+) is appreciated; a pebble tray or nearby humidifier helps
  
• Fertilize monthly during spring and summer with a balanced or bloom-boosting liquid fertilizer
  
• Do not remove spent flower stalks (peduncles); new blooms grow from the same spurs each season
  
• Repot infrequently; hoyas actually bloom better when slightly root-bound, so only repot every 3–4 years
