Our Story

Our story began in Juneau, Alaska, in 2017, where long winters make you appreciate the simple joy of something living, fragrant, and full of color. Frenchie’s Floral Studio was born from that feeling, a belief that flowers should bring warmth not only to our homes, but also to the world around us.

From the start, we’ve done things differently. While most flowers found in grocery stores and traditional shops travel thousands of miles before reaching a vase, our blooms come from nearby farms across Alaska and the Pacific Northwest. This approach supports regional growers, ensures freshness, and drastically reduces the environmental impact of every arrangement.

We’re also proud to be a floral foam–free studio, using reusable, natural mechanics instead of toxic microplastics that pollute waterways and harm ecosystems. Each arrangement is presented with care, wrapped in compostable materials when possible, and finished with a handwritten message on a bamboo keepsake stick, designed to be tucked away as a small memory after the blooms have passed.

Sustainability is woven into every choice we make, down to the vessels and planters we select. With our Co-Founders’ (Jeremy Bauer & Jason Clifton) background in interior design, each arrangement is conceived as part of a larger story, one that continues after the flowers are gone. The containers are meant to be reused, refilled, or admired, ensuring beauty that endures far beyond the bouquet.

At Frenchie’s, we craft florals with intention. Every stem tells a story of thoughtful sourcing, mindful design, and the belief that beauty and sustainability can, and should, grow together.
