Frenchie's Favorite June Flowers

June is one of our favorite months at the shoppe. The range of what comes through the door this time of year is hard to beat, and it shows in the arrangements we get to make.

Here's what we're working with right now.

Allium

One of our absolute favorites. Those perfect spherical blooms on long stems bring a sculptural quality to arrangements that almost nothing else does. Architectural, unexpected, and quietly show-stopping.

Peonies

The first peonies of the season are always a moment. So full, lush, and changing every day as they open up. Not here for a long time, but absolutely here for a good time.

Delphinium

Tall, dramatic, and that shade of blue that almost no other flower can touch. Delphinium adds height and an effortless elegance to arrangements that's not very easy to replicate with anything else.

Astilbe

Feathery, soft, and incredible as a filler that doesn't feel like a filler. Astilbe adds movement and texture in a way that makes everything around it look better.

Poppy and Scabiosa Pods

Not everything has to be a bloom. Poppy and scabiosa pods bring texture, structure, and a kind of quiet wildness to arrangements that we love. They're a designer's secret weapon to modern arrangements.

Sweet Pea

Wispy and impossibly pretty. Sweet peas are one of the things we look forward to most this time of year. They don't last forever, which somehow makes them feel even more special. Certainly one of our biggest favorites during its season!

Clematis

Delicate and climbing in nature, clematis brings something modern, whimsical, and a little unexpected to an arrangement. We reach for it often this time of year.

Dendrobium and Oncidium Orchids

On the tropical side, dendrobium and oncidium orchids are in heavy rotation in June. Delicate, architectural, and long-lasting, they bring something unexpected to a design and hold up beautifully.

June is a good time to come in and see what we're working with. The shoppe looks so good right now!
